Humminbird recommends installing this choke to prevent interference from the trolling motor. The choke gets connected in between the onboard charger and the cranking battery, which is the battery that the helix will be powered by. This required me to cut the ends off the charger leads and connect this choke in their place. As with all other connections in this installation, I protected them with heat shrink tubing.
